#SITS17 – 7th – 8th June – London Olympia
The main UK show for ITSM and Service Management professionals, #SITS17, is now in build mode and looks set to be another interesting event.
The vendor sales and marketing teams have agreed messaging, what they will be presenting and have handed everything over to their stand organisers. As I type this, the space-only exhibitors at #SITS17 will be building the stand layouts, painting structures and applying vinyl slogans to the vendors’ coloured panels. By tomorrow night, the stands will be finished and dressed with a smattering of monitors with rolling demos, literature racks, merchandise giveaways and competitions.
All this will be designed to entice the attendees onto the stand and, in most cases, to have a demo of the product on offer. Regardless of the comps and promos, there should be plenty of interesting technology on display that will be well worth looking at. The show is held at London Olympia alongside Infosec 2017 (in the adjacent hall), so there is more than enough on offer to fill a day.
For those interested in learning more about the latest trends in ITSM, there will also be learning/education zones offering breakfast briefings, hot-topic discussions and keynote presentations.
As can be seen in the articles we publish, service technology is a converging market and we regularly hear key phrases such as CX, SIAM and EaaS in relation to ITSM. With this in mind, I will be at #SITS17 this year reviewing what the industry has to offer and, in particular, what the standout developments of interest are. With more than 75 exhibitors to choose from, this should be another successful event!
